Petroleum contamination of soil and water at refineries, service stations, and other facilities is a serious problem.  Through the chemical analysis of the soil and water it can be determined what product(s) are present, the extent of the contamination, and, under the right conditions, when the contamination occurred.  Remediation of soil and water can be monitored and optimized through analysis and understanding of the processes in conjunction with the site characteristics.

We present here a series of resources to assist you in understanding petroleum products and the factors involved in remediating petroleum contamination.

Alpine Analytical is a full service laboratory capable of testing a wide variety of materials for an extensive list of analytes.  If you are considering having analyses performed or need further information on our capabilities click here to contact us, or call us at (800) 814-6282 between 8am and 5pm MST Monday through Friday and we will be glad to assist you.
